The Norwegian Communications Authority (Norwegian: Nkom) wants to test the electrical safety for type 3 AC charging stations for electric cars. The objective is to clarify whether they meet the current requirements.

The charging stations are intended for residential users or for carpooling. The power of the charging stations varies between 3.7 kW, 230 V AC, only 1 phase, to 22 kW, 400 V AC, 3 phases.

A selection of parameters is given for testing 6 different charging stations, see annex 1.
