Before the Covid-19 pandemic, Albeda employees and students made various one- and multi-day excursions and study trips every year, at home and abroad. The contracting authority expects that travel for employees and students will recover after the Covid-19 pandemic. Group travel is usually linked to specific objectives from education. This means that the trip and the stay must be as cheap as possible because students (co-)pay. This translates into the desired transport (bus or low-cost airline tickets), overnight stays (low class hotel, hostel, youth hostel), affordable activities and other facilities. Study trips and excursions have so far been purchased in parts.
The contracting authority wants to carry out all this efficiently, partly by applying One-stop shopping, supported by the deployment of students under the responsibility and guidance of a travel organization. Albeda wants to contract 1 service provider that
