The Hanseatic city of Lübeck carries out maintenance work on 2nd order waters in Lübeck's urban area. For this purpose, a wheeled excavator approved for road traffic with an operating weight of max. 21.5 t is used, which can move flexibly to the individual construction sites in the urban area without a transport vehicle and special permission. It is also mainly required and designed to operate on a pontoon with a vibration ram from the manufacturer Movax (type SG60) for pile ramming for the manufacture of shore fuses and bridge structures. The excavator's special feature lies in the special hydraulic performance required for the operation of the paving device in combination with a low weight and matched to the carrier pontoon with appropriate focal points of gravity. In addition to floating stability, the excavator and carrier pontoon unit is also adapted to the specific requirements of the area of application, especially with regard to bridge clearance heights. A two-shell grabper and the control for the vibration ram are included as accessories.
