The winter maintenance consists of:
• Contingency
• Snow clearing
• Gritting
• Removal of snow (after an order is placed by Spordrift)
• Spring cleaning/sweeping (option for Spordrift. Must be taken up at the latest in April each year).
• Any other work related to winter operations (after an ordre is placed by Spordrift)

All areas marked on the attached map are included in the work (blue, green, orange, and yellow).
Contingency
The tenderer will be required to have a 24-hour continual stand-by scheme in place in the period week 43 - week 16 every winter season. Allowances must also be made for a need for gritting/snow ploughing both before and after this period. This would then be bought on credit.
The tenderer must keep himself informed of the weather conditions and scheduled timetables, and carry out the assignments in accordance with this contract on their own initiative. The time for carrying out the assignment is related to the train times and the applicable timetable period.
On-call service:
There is a need for an on-call service in the winter season for heavy snow falls (personnel). The work will include, amongst other things, clearing tracks, points, platforms, car parks, and other alternative winter activities that it is possible to carry out.
Start-up locations: Nordagutu and Eidanger
Minimum requirement for response time: 48 hours.
A contract will be signed with up to 3 tenderers with ranking.
Scope
a) Regular assignment: For Drammen/Hokksund there will be a need for a driver of a railroad work machine that is included in the daily winter work between 01.11.2023 to 15.03.2024.
b) On-call service: In addition there is a need for an on-call service in the winter season, particularly for heavy snow falls (personnel).
