Lot 1 (contract management) of the combined construction, assembly, liability and planning liability insurance for the construction project "Berlin Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten, fire protection 2nd construction stage" for the client DB Station & Service AG as well as for everyone involved in the planning, monitoring and execution of this construction project by companies commissioned by DB Station & Service AG.

The subject of the award here is lot 1 (contract management with a management quota of 30%) of the combined construction, assembly, liability and planning liability insurance for the construction project "Berlin Zoologischer Garten station, fire protection 2nd construction stage".

The content of the project includes the complete services for the entire traffic station, which have not yet been recorded in the 1st BA. The train station is a category 2 station and has 2 central platforms for long-distance traffic (length 400 m, width 9 to 10 m and height 0.76 m) and a central platform for the S-Bahn (length approx. 170 m, width approx. 9 m and height 0.96 m). The following measures are part of this project:

- making accessibility;

- Replacement construction of the paving of the mainline platforms including guidance system for the blind and corrosion protection of the platform bridges without supporting structure;

- Replacement access routes from the main hall via the mezzanine floor to the platforms;

- Location of the elevators to the platforms in the main hall;

- Implementation of the new rental concept;

- Heating, ventilation plumbing services;

- MSR technology.

The total investment for this project with a currently planned construction period until September 2025 is estimated at EUR 65,772,000. Approx. EUR 3 million of this has already been billed through an existing contract. The new insurance contract advertised here will replace the existing one. The currently planned construction time is expected until September 30, 2025. Accordingly, the provisional term of the insurance contract is also planned until September 30, 2025 (plus extended maintenance and extended liability - see below).

The insurance contract begins after the end of the tendering process, probably from November 1, 2020 (later if necessary) following a current advance cover.

(Type H-EU) In liability insurance, the sum insured per claim is a flat rate of EUR 20,000,000 for personal injury, property damage and pecuniary damage, including benefits from environmental liability insurance.

In planning liability insurance, a separate coverage amount of EUR 10,000,000 per claim is available for property and pecuniary damage. The aforementioned sums are threefold maximized. Extend maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part is 42 months. Additional liability is 10 years in liability insurance and 5 years in environmental liability and environmental damage insurance. The general deductible is at least EUR 10,000. There is no deductible for personal injury. The extended planning coverage is included in the planning liability insurance.
