The state enterprise Geo-Basis Information and Surveying Saxony intends to update the highly accurate digital terrain model as part of the ATKIS® for different purposes from the areas of environment, economy and administration. The results of the laser scanner measurement image are also the basis for calculating high-precision digital orthophotos and the production of 3D building models and surface models.

The performance requirements of this tender include laser scanner measurement images with a dot density of at least 4 points/m² and laser measurement point accuracy of up to ± 15 cm in height and up to ± 30 cm in position, as well as the automatic and interactive classification of the results.
