The Limmattalbahn will optimally open up and connect as a fast fine distributor with a total of 27 stops on the 13.4 km long route Altstetten and the communities Schlieren, Urdorf, Dietikon, Spreitenbach and Killwangen. The Limmat Valley Railway is being built in 2 stages.
In the present submission procedure, the entrepreneur / contractor is designated for the signaling of civil engineering 4 to 7 of the 2nd stage of the Limmat Valley Railway. The alert of the signaling is divided into 3 lots. The first lot "S / Signaling Lot 4" includes the civil engineering lot 4 (in the area of the canton of Zurich and within ASTRA perimeter). The second lot lot "S / Signaling Lot 5/6" includes civil engineering lots 5 and 6 (in the area of the canton of Zurich). The third lot "S / Wegweisung Lot 7" includes Tiefbaulos 7 (in the area of the canton of Aargau).
The Lot S / Wegweisung lot 4 includes the Tiefbaulos 4 and the ASTRA perimeter. It starts at about km 3.75 after the loop Geissweid, includes the community Urdorf and ends at about km 6.19.
The lot S / Wegweisung lot 5/6 includes the civil engineering 5 and 6. It starts at about km 6.90 at the municipal boundary Urdorf - Dietikon and ends after the Mutschellenkreuzung on the border with the canton of Aargau at about km 10.28.
The Lot S / Wegweisung lot 7 includes the Tiefbaulos 7 and the depot. It starts at about km 10.28 at the canton border Zurich - Aargau and ends at the train station Killwangen-Spreitenbach at about km 13.46.
