Description:
Training programs will be implemented to enhance the digital skills of approximately 4,500 clergy and lay officers across various regions, focusing on digital governance and transformation through a combination of face-to-face and remote education.

The subject of the contract is the training of clergy and lay officers of the Holy Metropolises of the Church on topics and services of Digital Governance and Digital Transformation. Specifically, approximately 4,500 beneficiaries will be trained, distributed as follows:
• Implementation of training programs for clergy and lay officers of the Church in basic and advanced digital skills in the Less Developed Regions (3,579 beneficiaries), within the framework of Subproject 2
• Implementation of training programs for clergy and lay officers of the Church in basic and advanced digital skills in the Transition Regions (921 beneficiaries), within the framework of Subproject 3
The beneficiaries are 4,500 clergy and lay officers of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, the Holy Provincial Synod of Crete, the Holy Metropolises of the Church of Greece, the Church of Crete, the Dodecanese, and the Holy Patriarchal Exarchate of Patmos, clergy of special categories, nuns in Holy Monasteries of the Greek territory as well as those serving in ecclesiastical institutions.
The training action concerns the implementation of two targeted training programs of 48 teaching hours each, covering transversal and professional knowledge and skills. The proposed training and digital skills upgrading actions will be carried out both face-to-face and remotely via tele-education.
Specifically, out of the 48 hours of each program, 8 hours will be face-to-face and the remaining 40 hours remotely via tele-education, consisting of 30 hours of synchronous training and 10 hours of asynchronous training.
The 4,500 potential beneficiaries will have the opportunity to attend either one or both of the 48-hour training programs. The maximum number of participations has been set at 6,750 with the possibility of option on the physical scope and correspondingly the financial.
In exceptional cases and for reasons of geographical distribution of beneficiaries or technical constraints, face-to-face training may be replaced by equivalent and equal duration synchronous remote education.
This contract will be financed within the framework of the call no. 2762/20-11-2024 (ADA: Ρ45446ΜΠΥΓ-ΙΛ6) for submitting proposals in the "Digital Transformation 2021-2027" Program, Specific Objective ESO4.7 "Lifelong learning and career change", Intervention Field 145 "Support for the development of digital skills", Action 3.1.1 "Implementation of reskilling – upskilling programs of digital skills for General Government employees," with a total public expenditure budget of One million six hundred twenty thousand euros (€1,620,000.00) (excluding the option right) without VAT.
Option right: 14 months with an estimated value of five hundred forty thousand euros (€540,000.00) without VAT
Total estimated contract value (including the option right): Two million one hundred sixty thousand euros (€2,160,000.00) without VAT
The financing of the increase of the physical scope of the contract (exercise of option rights, in accordance with paragraph 1(a) of article 132 law 4412/2016) may be financed. For the option right, funding will be secured by the contracting authority upon its activation.
