The town hall of the city of Essen from 1979 must be upgraded in terms of fire protection.

In the course of the upcoming renovation, for which a specialist company is being sought with this tender, all suspended ceilings will be renewed or renovated and work on the technical equipment and modernization measures will be carried out. In the course of these measures, preliminary pollution remediation is required.

After a sample floor (4th floor) of the office tower of the town hall in Essen was renovated (completion at the end of 2019), another 20 floors of this office tower will have to be renovated while the remaining floors are in operation, starting in 2019 and in the coming years until 2026. In this case, 3 or 2 floors are renovated at the same time and with a slight time difference.
