The object of the acquisition is a large file transfer system as an onprem service, which can be used to securely transfer large files, such as patient data, mainly between Finnish operators, but also, if necessary, between Finnish and international (European) operators. In addition to its own needs, Istekki Oy will offer the system as a service to its co-op members, such as the wellbeing services counties. The aim is that the system meets the needs of the entire wellbeing services county, including all specialised medical care specialties, medical care support services, primary health care and various social welfare service tasks.

It is important to have a uniform, reliable and ready-to-deploy file transfer system, where good usability can save the resources of operators

The subscriber selects one (1) supplier with whom it enters into a contract. The contract will only be used by Istekki Oy and only Istekki Oy and the selected Supplier will be the parties to the contract. For the sake of clarity, Istek's customers are not parties, parties to this tendering procedure or to the contract awarded on the basis of it and will not otherwise join the procurement.

The acquisition amounts presented in the invitation to tender are estimates and the contract does not constitute a quantity obligation for the subscriber.
