A system operator will be engaged to take full operational responsibility for the operation of the biogas plant at Rygg near Tønsberg.

The contracting authority is GreVe Biogass AS and was established on the 21.10.2013 and is owned by Vesar AS, Vestfoldkommunene Horten, Holmestrand, Hof, Andebu, Tønsberg treatment plant IKS and Grenlandskommunene Porsgrunn, Skien, Kragerø, Siljan and Bamble.

GreVe Biogass AS is an order company, that amongst other thingsensures local and sustainable recycling of food waste to the municipal owners.
