Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) is establishing a zero carbon delivery framework which, once awarded, will be managed by Essentia Trading Ltd (ETL), a subsidiary business of GSTT. The framework will provide a model for public sector bodies wishing to implement low/zero carbon technologies.
The framework agreement will be open to all UK public sector bodies, (including those involved in consortium arrangements), however, no-public sector body will be committed to place an order under the framework agreement. A full list of public sector bodies is available within the ITT Document. The framework will be split into four lots as follows:
Lot 1: All-encompassing technologies;
Lot 2: Heating and Renewables;
Lot 3: Metering; and
Lot 4: Building Management System.
All-encompassing technologies – this lot will include suppliers who can provide a holistic solution for participating authorities through the provision of a variety of low/zero carbon technologies. This will enable organisations to reduce carbon emissions via a one stop solution.
This lot will include suppliers who can provide participating authorities with access to a range of heating and/or renewable technologies. Suppliers may be technology specific or offer a range of heating and renewable technologies. This lot includes complementary technologies that optimise and enhance the benefits of the solution, e.g. voltage optimisation.
This lot will include suppliers who can provide participating authorities with access to a range of utility metering and submetering technologies, including but not limited to, gas metering services, water metering services and steam metering services.
This lot will include suppliers who can provide participating authorities with building management systems (BMS) that manage and control the mechanical and electrical services of buildings.
