Provision of the service of collection and transfer of corpses for the practice of "forensic evidence" (autopsies, necropsies and other forensic investigation tests), agreed ex officio by the judicial bodies of the Principality of Asturias, from the place of the lifting or exhumation of the corpse, to the headquarters of the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Asturias (hereinafter IMLCF), located in José Requejo Street, n.º 1, in Oviedo and subsequent extraction and removal of the IMLCF corpses.
Provision of the service of collection and transfer of corpses for the practice of "forensic evidence" (autopsies, necropsies and other forensic investigation tests), agreed ex officio by the judicial bodies of the Principality of Asturias, from the place of the lifting or exhumation of the corpse, to the headquarters of the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Asturias (hereinafter IMLCF), located in José Requejo Street, n.º 1, in Oviedo and subsequent extraction and removal of the IMLCF corpses.
The collection and transport derived from the exhumation of corpses at the request of a party is excluded from the scope of application of this contract.
For the purposes of interpreting this contract, the following concepts and definitions are established:
- The cases of judicial intervention will be the cases of sudden, violent or suspected death of criminality in which the competent judge carries out the diligence of removal of the body, in the place where it is located, together with the judicial police and the forensic medical team, with subsequent transfer of the body to the IMLCF for the practice of autopsies, necropsies and other forensic investigation evidence. These types of "judicial corpses" are what this contract refers to.
- "Forensic evidence" to be carried out on judicial corpses shall mean autopsies, necropsies and other forensic investigation evidence. As it is the usual forensic test, the term "autopsy" will be used, meaning any type of forensic test that must be performed.
