Within the framework of the existing funding of EUR 751,596 net, an HPC SMP cluster is to be procured.

Within the framework of the existing funding of EUR 751,596 net, an HPC SMP cluster is to be procured.

A computing cluster with a system with large main memory is to be procured. This is to be accommodated in two racks. Either the installation in the existing racks of the type Schroff nVent Varistar LHX+ (width 800mm, height 2000mm, depth 1300mm; cooling air through built-in LHX cooling units), or in racks to be delivered, which can be integrated into the 800mm grid of the cabinet series. Liquid cooling (DLC) is required for the systems, which absorbs at least 70% of the waste heat from the systems. Cold water with a flow temperature of 12°C is available as primary cooling. Corresponding heat exchangers for separating the cooling circuit in the rack for the DLC systems and the primary cooling circuit of the room are the racks to integrate and also part of this tender. Any necessary cooling by means of an air flow must be actively carried out through the rack, either while maintaining the existing racks by the LHX cooling units or, in the case of own racks, by suitable measures. Up to 4 CEE connector 3-phase 32A connectors are available for power supply. For the power distribution within the racks, corresponding PDUs must be offered, which can be queried and switched via an Ethernet interface. The supplier shall guarantee a value RMAX for a Linpack benchmark for the entire system, which must be achieved at least in the acceptance test. A value for SpecFP 2017 base rate for a system must be specified for the selected CPU type, for example from Table https://www.spec.org/cgi-bin/osgresults?conf=cpu2017. An estimated power consumption of the entire system under full load shall also be given and made plausible by estimating them using appropriately completed BTU sheets.
