All approximately 800 training seminars and seminar schools in Bavaria will be equipped with more than 13,000 training tablets, including a pen input device, keyboard and display adapter, which are retrieved as required from a framework agreement.

Hardware and software are integrated into a centrally organized device and license management, which is used decentrally by the school system support.

Assistance is provided to school system support for device management (mobile device management, distribution, balancing of fluctuations in demand, device status messages) as well as support (hotline, teleservice, replacement of defective devices).

In order to improve IT equipment in training seminars and seminary schools, preparatory service teachers and seminary teachers will be equipped with more than 13 000 devices.

The tender includes tablets, accessories (pen input device, keyboard, display adapter) as well as comprehensive technical and logistical administration of the devices:

— The individual seminary schools/study seminars are uniformly equipped with tablets of an operating system that is suitable for the school's IT equipment. With the entry of a new year or in the event of fluctuations during the year, the required hardware and software is called up as required from a framework agreement.

— The object of the contract is fully managed devices with centrally organized device and license management. The external service provider will provide support services to school system support, for example for device management (mobile device management, distribution, balancing of fluctuations in demand, device status messages) as well as support (hotline, teleservice, replacement of defective devices).
