The new construction of the L 70n road as the southern bypass of the Niedersprockhövel district is being carried out in several sections.

The L70n begins in the west with the roundabout on Wuppertaler Straße and runs in an easterly direction on the former railway line, which is used as a walkway and bike path. At the level of the school complex (Mathilde Anneke Schule), the L 70n leaves the embankment and continues to run at the southern foot of the embankment. After about 200 m behind the Glückauf-Halle it cuts through the embankment, swings to the northeast and connects with another roundabout to the L 551 Haßlinghauser Straße.

The construction work of the 1st BA (0 + 000 - 0 + 380) with noise protection wall (LSW) on the school complex, rainwater treatment system West and the school complex parking lot will end in early summer 2021.

The subject of the tender is the creation of a retaining wall and a rainwater treatment system.

The retaining wall runs on the southern edge of the road directly to the end of the 1st road construction section, with a length of approx. 40 m and a height of up to 1.40 m.

A rainwater treatment system (RKB-Ost) is to be built at the intersection of L551 Haßlinghauser Straße and Hopener Weg.
