Natural stone work, balustrades and terraces.
The French Pavilion (Pavilion G) is part of the listed and particularly sensitive building complex "Dresdner Zwinger". On the construction site area, there are areas that can be used by tourists and other visitors to the Zwinger, which must be open to the public during construction. The contractor must be able to demonstrate experience of restoration services in complex buildings with ongoing use. Since the Dresdner Zwinger is a unique Baroque work of art worldwide, the contractor must have the necessary knowledge for the execution of construction work within the building complex for the ongoing museum operation and the responsibilities in the kennel, in order to endanger life and limb - especially of Tourists and other location-unfamiliar people - to be able to exclude. The French Pavilion and the Bogengalerie L are currently undergoing a thorough renovation.
The tendered works include the restoration of the balustrades on the front terrace of the French Pavilion and on the terrace of the Bogengalerie L as well as the laying of the terrace coverings on the aforementioned terraces.
Service contents are:
- installation of pedestals, balusters, relief fields, handrail and pedestal stones of the balustrades of the front terrace and the French pavilion,
- Dismantling and installation of balustrades and upper belt elements on individual balustrade fields on the arch gallery L,
- removing the numbering during assembly,
- anchorages made of stainless steel,
- securing balustrade with stainless steel anchors (increase traffic safety),
- fours,
- dismantling, temporary storage and replacement of sandstone floor, gutter and tracing panels,
- renewal of damaged plates,
- installation of fours,
- Numbering and mapping of all components during recording, removal of numbering during installation,
- Cutting and sawing work.
The installation of the balustrades is carried out by facade scaffolding provided by the client.
