Contracting authority
Contracting authority:
Tanum municipality, organization number 212000-1348.
purpose
The purpose of the procurement is to sign a six-year contract with a supplier for circulation washing.
The agreement refers to:
1. Circulation washing workwear for staff - rental goods2. Circulation washing bed textiles - rental goods and customer owned
The agreement includes rental of clothes and bed textiles, laundry, repair, replacement, finishing, packaging and transport to and from delivery points specified by the municipality. Clothes and bed textiles are rented per week. The assignment regarding bed textiles also includes to some extent the handling of customer-owned goods.
Extent
According to the plan, approximately 390 people working in Tanum municipality are expected to use the work clothes under this agreement. The volume requested is based on the fact that they change the top and bottom after each shift. The number of sets per person is 11/week for all delivery points except three, which need 13 sets per person per week (see Appendix 2 Delivery addresses).
Also included are bed textiles for the municipality's largest accommodation Hedegården with 64 beds.
The supplier is responsible for ensuring that delivered laundry meets the requirements for delivery time, washing quality and industry practice. In all handling, the supplier must follow instructions and recommendations from authorities and the like regarding hygiene issues.
The quantities indicated in the Price and Tender Forms are estimated from current needs. The customer guarantees that a total of at least 70% of the value of these will be used.
Durability
The municipality works with sustainability issues and has a climate and environmental strategy. Procurements must include sustainability requirements. In this procurement, Tanum municipality chooses to procure circulation washing as a contract over six years. This is to use any brand new clothes and bed textiles for as long as the textiles are expected to last. As a further step in the sustainability aspect, we will accept already circulated clothing and bed textiles from the start of the agreement. To facilitate this, the municipality also refrains from having a logo print on the clothes. The clothes that are offered and eventually delivered to the municipality do not have to be brand new.
The municipality also chooses to be more flexible regarding which colors of work clothes we can accept.
The municipality also strives, in collaboration with the supplier, to reduce both twisted garments and forgotten items. All to improve the work environment, rejections, economy and sustainability.
of procedure
The procurement is carried out according to an open procedure in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (2016:1145) with changes and additions.
