The building to be renovated KWM 6-14 is located on the site of the former Kraftwerk Mitte, in 01067 Dresden. The building dates from 1895 and was built for the operation of electrical switchgear. The building has been unused since 1996.

The building has a basement, ground floor and 6 upper floors (3rd - 6th floor in the guy tower). The top floor is approx. 23 m above ground. The building is predominantly made of solid brick masonry, the ceilings were made of reinforced concrete.

The site is located between Könneritzstrasse, Schweriner Strasse, Wettiner Platz, Alfred-Althus Strasse and Ehrlichstrasse.

The work is carried out in parallel to the services of other building trades on the site.

- approx. 23 sheet steel doors with fire protection requirements;

- approx. 13 tubular frame doors with glazing;

- approx. 5 tubular frame doors with glazing and fire protection requirements;

- Escape door terminal, electric door drives, hold-open systems, EMA;

- RC2 burglar protection.
