This new integrated service will replace the current "Primary Care Centre" element of the West Hampshire GP Out of Hours (OOH) service. It will also build on the development of extended access to primary care services across West Hampshire CCG that are currently being delivered beyond core general practice opening hours funded by the GP Forward View (GPFV) access funding. The new service is comprised of 2 components:
— Extended Access to Primary Care (6:30pm-8:30pm weekdays and weekend provision),
— Urgent Access to Primary Care (outside core GMS service hours; 6:30pm-8:00am and at weekends). The service was procured in 3 lots across West Hampshire. The value is for 5 years (3+2) for all Lots
West Hampshire CCG commissioned a new integrated EUPCS that is tailored to the localities of West Hampshire and easy to access from a patient perspective – providing choice of routine and urgent primary care appointments during weekday evenings and at weekends.
