The project "Restructuring of the Herrengarten area in the city centre of Siegen into a public green space" is a measure within the framework of the overall project "Siegen - To New Shores", which is funded with public funds.

A Europe-wide invitation to tender will be issued, as the estimated contract value is based on the total value of all lots "Siegen- Zu neuen Ufern" and the exemption of § 3 (9) VgV cannot currently be applied to the measure, which will last several years. Section 3 (9) VgV provides that a Europe-wide invitation to tender may be dispensed with if the estimated total net value of the service is less than EUR 1 million and the sum of the net values does not exceed 20% of the total value of all lots.
