The plant is used for the processing of aqueous and aqueous-alcoholic dispersions by separating solids and the liquid phase from each other. It consists of the actual separation device and a device part for feeding the dispersion with a controllable pump and a corresponding supply line. The plant operates in continuous operation. The dispersion is pumped into the separation device and fed into a rotating drum. By centrifugal forces, solids whose density is higher than that of the liquid phase settle on the drum wall. In the tapered drum, a screw with a differential speed conveys the solid to the discharge opening.
