The Agency for Urban Environment in Oslo Municipality is responsible for the planning, development, management, and operation of municipal urban spaces in Oslo. The urban spaces include common areas such as roads and streets, squares, meeting places, parks and recreational areas. The areas of responsibility also include municipal sports centres, recreational installations, and municipal landscape areas in uncultivated land and inner Oslo fjord. Bridge management will see to the infrastructure and ensure compliance with the requirements for a good and uniform standard for the safety and functionality of supporting constructions. The procurement will contribute to achieving the contracting authority's goal of making Oslo a safe, beautiful, green, and active city for everyone.
Bridge management will see to the infrastructure and ensure compliance with the requirements for a good and uniform standard for the safety and functionality of supporting constructions. The contracting authority is responsible for approx. 360 bridges (mainly on roads and streets). Of which, approx. 180 bridges must have a main inspection over a 5-year period under this contract. In addition there will be a need to inspect bridges on the path network and on uncultivated land.
The procurement covers consultancy services/advisory services with competence in bridge inspections, main inspections, bridge classification, and
maintenance engineering design services. The procurement will cover the capacity for a project manager/
quality assurer with overall responsibility for follow-up and inspection reports, resources for inspections, as well as resources for maintenance engineering design services.
