Underground sub-distributions (hereinafter referred to as UV) are to be replaced at several locations. These UVs are used for energy distribution for various consumers in the 500 V / 230 V distribution network of the mine.

An IT network is installed underground, operating voltages are structured as follows:

Medium voltage Ub: 20 kV or 5 kV

Low voltage Ub: 3/PE 50 Hz 500 V (three-phase current)

Any necessary control voltages (230 V, 3/PE 50 Hz) must generally be generated via a control transformer integrated in the system.
