The Trust are seeking to appoint a competent and effective Outsourced Catering Provider. It is the Trusts expectation that the supplier shall provide a range of good quality, nutritious, attractively presented meals for pupils and staff, that comply with Government's minimum nutritional and food based standards for the educational sector. Meals should reflect growth in healthy eating trends, promote uptake, and comply with the new Ofsted guidance for catering.

The supplier shall establish effective management and operational level communication systems at all levels regarding the catering service with customers that include; School management, parents, and pupils. In addition, the provider will also be responsible for all legal and health and safety & food safety requirements in delivering the services.

The 2016 deployment of contracts will be for Thistley Hough only, its recognised further schools will join the Trust agreement in the future.

Thistley Hough is located in stoke on Trent and currently has circa 1 000 pupils in attendance.

The resulting contract will initially be for a period of 3 years, the Trust reserve the right to extend the agreement by the further 2 years in yearly intervals.

The services will be provided by one contractor for all Trust schools with the successful supplier commencing deployment and delivery from July 2016 (deployment) and services start date September 2016.
