Abellio Rail Mitteldeutschland GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “ABRM” or “issuing body”) has been commissioned to provide services in local rail passenger transport (SPNV). For this purpose, ABRM uses electric railcars (ET) of the type Bombar-dier Talent 2 (BR 9442), among others. The vehicle fleet comprises 20, each with three car bodies, and 15 vehicles with five car bodies each. These vehicles are to be subject to vehicle revision according to a schedule from the beginning of 2023. Against this background, the awarding body is issuing a plant/delivery contract for the revision according to the manufacturer's specifications of the central buffer couplings and car joints installed in the vehicles from the manufacturer Voith in the planned period from January 2023 to probably February 2025. A total of 74 central buffer couplings and 108 car joints are to be revised.

Abellio Rail Mitteldeutschland GmbH announces a plant/delivery contract for the revision of 74 center buffer puppets and 108 car joints from the manufacturer Voith, which is concluded exclusively with the most economical provider.

The contract is awarded to the most economical offer after submission and evaluation of the tenders in accordance with Section 127 GWB in conjunction with Section 52 (2) SekTVO. The most economical offer is determined on the basis of the best price and the best fulfilment of the evaluation criteria quality. The price is weighted with 75% (70% price for revision work and 5% price for corrective and additional work). The quality criteria are listed in the tender documents and are weighted at 25%.
