County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service wish to engage with a third party ICT service provider to provide a managed ICT support service to Headquarters and associated Fire Stations in the region. The provision of network and ICT support are currently outsourced contracts with a third-party.

This opportunity to assist the Authority and the contract requirements will cover the following main areas:

— service desk,

— application support,

— hardware maintenance,

— server room management,

— on-site support staff,

— service level management,

— security management,

— resilience and data services.

The following are outside the scope of requirements and this tender:

— data cabling,

— supply of wide area networking,

— voice network infrastructure,

— command and control mobilising systems,

— budgetary control.
