The contractor provides mobile test tracks for locally flexible testing for the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The mobile test tracks are to be used in particular in order to be able to test quickly and gently for the affected persons in the event of locally limited outbreak events or in a close spatial context (e.g. old and nursing homes, disabled facilities, asylum seeker shelters and schools). The list of the above areas of application is not exhaustive.

The Free State of Bavaria, represented — loosely — by the respective (district) government — (client), commissions the construction, organization and operation of mobile test tracks or mobile test teams. The service is divided into seven lots as follows:

— Lot 1: setting up and operating a mobile test track for the Upper Palatinate region,

— Lot 2: setting up and operating a mobile test track for the Upper Franconia region,

— Lot 3: setting up and operating a mobile test track for the district of Middle Franconia,

— Lot 4: Set up and operate a mobile test track for the Lower Franconia region,

— Lot 5: setting up and operating a mobile test track for the Swabia Region,

— Lot 6: setting up and operating 2 mobile test tracks for the Upper Bavaria region,

— Lot 7: Set up and operate a mobile test track for the district of Lower Bavaria.

Test capacities are to be made available for carrying out up to 500 tests per calendar day and per mobile test track. Thus, 1,000 test capacities are to be made available for lot 6 (administrative district of Upper Bavaria) and 500 test capacities per calendar day for the remaining lots. The test results are to be transmitted to the tested within 24 hours.

Lot 1: Setup and operation of a mobile test track for the district of Upper Palatinate.
