The purpose of the special plan of the Country of the Great Straits Fixed Link and the assessment of its effects is to increase the competitiveness of the regions and reduce peripheralisation through the planning of a fixed link across the Great Strait from the mainland to the island of Muhu.

The service provider consults the Ministry of Finance on the pre-selection of the location of the Rep of the Great Straits Fixed Link, the assessment of relevant impacts, including the preparation of the report of the first stage of the KSH, and the conduct of the studies in the annexes to the LS and VTK and the preparation of the sketch project for the pre-selection phase of the location - incl. carrying out the works specified in the technical specifications and conducting studies.
