The object of the order is the supply of road salt for winter maintenance of roads for the Municipal Department of Municipal Sp. z o.o. in Stalowa Wola.

The subject of the contract shall include the supply of road salt (bulk) together with unloading complying with the requirements of standard PN-86/C-84081/02 or equivalent and increased requirements:

1) non-caking, coarse-grained form;

2) a minimum of 95% sodium chloride content;

3) a minimum of 40 mg/kg antisuble content;

4) the content of insoluble substances in water at a maximum of 5%;

5) content H2O max. 3%;

6. Other parameters according to PN-86/C-84081/02 or equivalent;

7. The salt must meet the above technical parameters confirmed by an athiest or a report of physicochemical tests. The salt provided will hold a positive opinion of the Roads and Bridges Research Institute and a certificate of hygiene issued by the State Department of Hygiene.

The new edition of the standard, i.e. PN C-84081- 2:1998 Salt (sodium chloride) has replaced the standard PN 86/C-84081/02, eliminating the term road salt and giving no requirements for road salt. It is hereby considered that, for the purposes of the assessment of salt used in the road, the requirements of the old standard are appropriate and should continue to be applied. (Guidelines for winter road maintenance developed by the Research Institute of Roads and Bridges for the purposes of the GDDKiA) and the conditions of the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 27 October 2005 on the type of conditions of application of measures which can be used on public roads and squares and streets ( OJ No 230 item 1960 of 24 November 2005).

2. Supplied salt should be free from contaminants of mineral origin, type of mineral pebbles, as well as plastic contaminants type fragments of film or plastic packaging.

3. Salt must not be caked at the time of delivery.

4. The method of execution of the order and the volume of orders shall be set out:

1) minimum volume of planned deliveries — 500 Mg;

2) maximum volume of planned deliveries — 3,500 Mg.
