Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust specialises in providing mental health care to a broad spectrum of age groups ranging from young children to the elderly and covering a large geographical area from North Yorkshire to the borders of Tyneside. The Trust is seeking a supplier(s) to provide laundry services to the Trust. The requirements include the hire of flat linen (sheets, pillowcases, blankets and towels), and the collection and delivery of the linen and related supplies to and from various locations across the Trust's estate. The service includes but is not limited to the laundering of the supplied linen and other general linen including curtains, patient clothing and other related items. The supplier will also be requested to provide the support of a sewing room service in addition to the laundry service. This opportunity is for 36 months with the option to extend for 12 months plus 12 months.
