Lørenskog Sixth Form College was established in the existing premises in 1974, and the college's indoor climate was improved by an indoor climate project in 2013.

The addition connected to Lørenskog Sixth Form College shall be a detached building connected to the old building by an intermediate building, which shall be the College's new entrance. The building will have a gross area of 2 203 m² and a net area of 1 562 m², as well a reconstruction area of 173 m².

The addition shall contain a vestibule/intermediate building, a kitchen/canteen, an auditorium, four education rooms and 1 large meeting room/education room as well as work stations for teachers. An unheated garage shall also be established.
