In the municipality of Leusden there are approximately 220 underground collection containers for the collection of residual waste and various types of raw materials. The containers have a technical lifespan of approximately 10 years, which means that the relevant underground collection containers will therefore have to be refurbished in the coming years. The refurbishment of underground containers, spread over the following years:

- 2024: 5 pmd containers and 5 paper containers

- 2025: 6 pmd containers and 4 paper containers

The underground containers must be repaired in accordance with the planning, so that they can last for the next ten years and that guarantee can be given. Of the 20 containers mentioned above, the three-hook under the hood must be adjusted to three-hook above the hood. If the containers do need to be replaced, the old containers must be taken and disposed of by the contractor and processed sustainably.

The tender also focuses on annual maintenance.
