The contracting entity offers a partner agreement on sorting and recycling of municipal bulky waste. The partner agreement covers, among other things, the receipt of bulky waste, the sorting of bulky waste into fractions in a technological sorting plant in order to ensure sorting for recycling. In addition, further transport of bulky waste after sorting for disposal as well as handling of data and documentation. The contracting entity also expects to initiate development projects around sorting out additional fractions during the contract period and other projects to increase the recycling rate.

With the partnership agreement, the contracting entity wishes to achieve a trust-based and close cooperation with the future waste handler, as well as ensure a technological development in the field of sorting of bulky waste, ensure better data and documentation and achieve a higher recycling rate during the term of the contract.

The contracting entity collects bulky waste from both villas, townhouses, allotment garden associations and apartment buildings and handles the transport of bulky waste to the waste handler. Bulky garbage is expected to be collected with compactor cars at the start of the contract. Bulky waste consists of discarded household goods and items that cannot be placed in the established containers for recycling fractions or containers for residual waste (municipal waste). The collected bulky waste is a very mixed waste fraction, which can contain, for example, the following waste items: discarded household items, bicycles, logs and shocks, and construction waste of wood, glass, plastic and metal from do-it-yourself work.

The volume of bulky waste is expected to be approximately 14,000 tonnes in 2023, cf. the tender documents for further information. The contracting entity expects that bulky waste volumes will decrease during the term of the contract.
