Emergency and security equipment. Sprinkler systems. Risers. Burglar and fire alarms. The requirement is split into the following main areas:
Maintenance, Repair and Testing of Fire and Intruder Alarm Systems
Maintenance, Repair and Testing of Fire Equipment (Extinguishers Etc)
Maintenance, Repair and Testing of Emergency Lighting Systems
Maintenance, Repair and Testing of Wet & Dry Risers
Maintenance, Repair and Testing of Sprinkler Systems
There are also 2 known locations where Fire Suppression systems are in place, the maintenance, repair and testing of which shall also be covered by this contract, and this requirement may expand over the course of the contract as CCTV improvements are undertake across the Stock.
The Intruder Alarms requirement also includes a limited number (approximately 200) of domestic alarms, with an estimated cost of £4,000 per annum.
The winning Contractor will be required to provide and be responsible for the provision of all services and meeting all response repairs and rectification times.
The requirement covers medium and high rise residential blocks, as well as offices across Wolverhampton.
The winning Contractor will also be expected to create and maintain asset registers, handing them over to the Client at the end of the contract term.
