Framework
This assignment relates to the control of invasive alien plant species in nature reserves in the eastern part of Flanders, commissioned by the Agency for Nature and Forest, divided into several plots.
A number of plots involve the implementation of manual control methods (manual pulling/digging, mowing,...), others involve the mechanical removal of invasive alien plants. The compulsory system and working methods are described in detail in the technical requirements of these specifications.
The use of chemical pesticides (glyphosate and others) is prohibited within the framework of this assignment.
Duration of the assignment:
The duration of this (framework) agreement is 1 year of implementation and starts on the date as set in the initial order. This framework agreement can subsequently be renewed a maximum of 3 times, each time with 1 year of implementation. The closure of the contract refers to the totality, i.e. both the basic assignment and the extensions. The contracting authority is only bound by the initial basic contract and not by the extensions. However, the contractor is bound for the whole (initial assignment and renewals) in the sense that he cannot subsequently negotiate any conditions for the extensions other than the conditions initially offered by him. If the contractor does not wish to renew the assignment, he will inform the client in writing at least 4 months before the end of the term by registered letter to the leading official of this assignment. The client confirms 3 months before the start of the new extension whether there will actually be an extension.
