The Westschnellweg is part of the federal highway B6 and an important part of the expressway system of the Hanover metropolitan region. In order to be able to guarantee the safety and lightness of traffic at all times in the future as well, plans for adapting parts of the expressway system in accordance with the guidelines should be included. The subject of this call is, among other things, the services for the environmental impact study and the landscape management accompanying plan. The processing of the project "Adaptation of the B 6 | WSW in Hanover in accordance with the guidelines" is divided into the following parts:

"Part I - Early replacement of the Schwanenburg Bridge" and "Part II - Overall section of the line for the conforming adaptation of the B 6 | Westschnellweg between AS Herrenhausen (B6) and Deisterkreisel". Separate documents must be prepared for the two parts.

This approx. 4.0 km long section is a 4-lane federal road without hard shoulder. In the planning area, the Westschnellweg borders on sensitive areas: near an FFH and landscape conservation area, monument protection areas (especially Herrenhausen Gardens) and distance to the settlement areas, in some cases significantly less than 50 m.

The examination area is approximately 500 ha.

- Environmental impact studies (UVS) Lph 1-4 according to Annex 1 No. 1.1 HOAI for both parts;

- Landscape management accompanying plan Lph 1-4 according to § 26 HOAI i. V. m. Appendix 7 for Part I Schwanenburg Bridge;

- optional: landscape maintenance plan Lph 1-4 according to § 26 HOAI i. V. m. Appendix 7 for Part II of the entire route section;

- Species protection law contribution to the UVS for both parts;

- Species protection law contribution to LBP for Part I Schwanenburg Bridge;

- optional: technical contribution to species protection law for the LBP for part II of the entire route section;

- FFH preliminary test for both parts;

- optional: technical contribution to the Water Framework Directive (WFD);

- Participation in the public relations work of the client;

- Completeness checks of the parameters acc. OGewV;

- Optional: Creation of the relevant parts of the environmental report on the approval process, creation of an approvable document, participation in the development of objections and statements, among others
