Conclusion of a framework agreement for services in the area of ongoing network operation at the Office for Information Processing of the City of Cologne

Around 13,000 workstations are networked in numerous offices with 2 highly available data centers in Chorweiler and Deutz via the urban data network (CAN = Cologne Area Network). On the basis of this infrastructure, both data and voice transmission is carried out in communication network 221-0.

Workplace-related configuration, change and installation work on the data network must be carried out on an ongoing basis through removals, new rentals and to ensure the operation.

The tasks include activities such as circuit work in the context of removals and new installation of PC workstations, maintenance of existing documentation, troubleshooting and remediation on the passive data network as well as active network components on site, carrying out configuration changes, support in planning and Implement changes, support proactive network management and the provision of measuring devices for network analysis and error limitation.
