The Municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn needs to have an ecological study carried out for the purpose of a Species Management Plan.
Within this tender, the municipality intends to contract 3 components:
1. Ecological research;
2. Writing the Species Management Plan;
3. The coordination and guidance to achieve an SMP exemption.
We think of the following tasks (non-exhaustive):
- Coordination consultations (approx. 1 to 2) with the Haaglanden Environment Agency in preparation for the ecological study with at least the following content:
o Discuss plan of action ecological research;
- Carrying out ecological research within the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn;
o Quickscan (exploration consists of: literature review and fieldwork)
o Area-wide species-oriented field research (at least on the animal species house sparrow, bats and swifts).
- Coordination consultations (approx. 3 to 5) with the Haaglanden Environment Agency in preparation for the SMP and the exemption application on at least the following content:
o Effectbepaling
o Measures/mitigation plan
o Monitoringsplan
o Legal assessment framework, with State of Conservation, Regulatory Interests and Alternatives consideration
o Advising
- Elaboration of the Species Management Plan with at least the following components:
o Effectbepaling
o Measures/mitigation plan
o Monitoringsplan
o Legal assessment framework, with State of Conservation, Regulatory Interests and Alternatives consideration
o Advising
