The city of Bayreuth has already carried out an EU tender (reference no. 2020 / S 179-431464) within the framework of the funding program “Special Budget Loan Devices”.
Due to the ongoing effects of the corona pandemic, this funding program will be expanded and additional financial resources will be made available. A preliminary information (2020 / S 214-523514) has already been published for this invitation to tender, in order to shorten the deadline for the receipt of offers.
As part of this additional tender, the city of Bayreuth would like to procure additional mobile devices including accessories for the 21 schools in the city of Bayreuth in the city of Bayreuth.
These schools are also the places of performance. Which specific schools represent the performance locations for which specific lot can be found in the description of services.
The call for tenders takes place within the framework of the increase in the funding program “Special Budget for Loan Devices”.
This additional tender includes notebooks and tablets with accessories and associated services (in particular setup, commissioning and instruction) and is divided into 3 lots:
- Lot 1: Apple hardware and accessories including service,
- Lot 2: Windows hardware and accessories including service,
- Lot 3: Android hardware and accessories including service.
Apple hardware and accessories including serviceThis lot includes the services:
1. Apple iPad,
2. JAMF / School formerly ZuluDesk,
3. Pencil suitable for the above iPad,
4. Keyboard suitable for the above iPad,
5. Protective cover suitable for the above iPad,
6. Apple AirPods,
7. Apple Service Training.

In order to check whether the systems offered by the bidder for the individual items meet the minimum requirements specified by the city of Bayreuth, all products must be named with their make and device type. For this purpose, 1 fields are provided in the description of services for the individual items of the lot. Failure to mention the specific make and type leads to the exclusion of the offer, as the offer is then considered incomplete. A subsequent request will not be made.
In addition, data sheets with information or technical descriptions for all products offered (with the exception of services and software or licenses) must be enclosed with the offer.
WINDOWS hardware and accessories including serviceThis lot includes the services:
1. Windows tablet,
2. Tablet pen suitable for the above tablet,
3. Tablet cover suitable for the above tablet,
4. Windows Notebook (at least 13 ", max. 14"),
5. Windows Notebook (at least 15 ", max. 15.6"),
6. Microsoft 365 Education,
7. Windows service training.
