The County Administrative Board of Uppsala County is responsible for biogeographical follow-up of mosses, which is part of Sweden's work on the EU's species and habitat directives. The follow-up aims to follow trends in species population size, distribution, habitat and to increase knowledge of the species' total population size.
The County Administrative Board of Uppsala County now procures a framework agreement that includes sixteen (16) different sub-assignments for biogeographic follow-up of mosses. A detailed description of the assignment and the County Administrative Board's expectations of the supplier can be found in section 4. Requirement specification.
The County Administrative Board is a multifaceted authority with widely varying tasks that includes, among other things, environmental protection, community planning, nature conservation, veterinary issues, EU issues, agricultural and grant matters, emergency preparedness issues, equality between women and men and much more.
