245_25 Grounds Maintenance Services. The framework intends to provide a national solution that offers customers a range of grounds maintenance services including seasonal grass cutting, shrub maintenance, weeding, sports pitch marking, arboriculture services and winter grounds services such as gritting. The framework is split into two Lots. To tender: (a) Go to https://www.eastmidstenders.org/; (b) Register (if not already registered on ProContract); (c) Search for tender opportunity '245_25' (via "View Opportunities" from the 'EastMidsTenders' Portal); (d) Express an interest; (e) Download the tender documents (from the ProContract Activity summary screen, once an Expression of interest has been completed). Lot 1 - Grounds Maintenance Services This Lot covers general grounds maintenance services, including but not limited to: • The regular maintenance of grassed areas, hedges, shrub beds, hard landscape areas and sports facilities. • The planting, establishment and maintenance of shrub beds, hedges and bulbs at appropriate times. • The removal and disposal of rubbish, rubble, leaves and any other material considered detrimental to the appearance of the Customer's site(s). • The reinstatement as necessary of some grassed areas and shrubberies. • The maintenance of sports pitches including mowing and line marking. • The removal of snow and gritting of walkways and carparks. • The killing and removal of weeds. Lot 2 - Arboriculture Services This Lot covers general arboriculture services, including but not limited to: • The maintenance of trees including pruning, crown raising, crown thinning, and crown reduction. • The complete felling, removal and disposal of trees. • Tree surveying
