The Contracting Authority wants tenders offers on management and consultancy services for technology qualifying of various bridge concepts for crossing of the fjords that are included in the project Ferry Free E39.

The relevant bridge concepts involve new technological solutions as well as ‘known’ technology from offshore constructions being used in new ways in combination with ‘traditional’ bridge elements. The concepts include the main types of floating bridges, multi-span suspension bridges on flowing foundations (TLP), and tunnel bridges.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration needs to join with competence for management and consultancy related to technology qualifications with additional expertise in construction techniques, hydrodynamics, marine floating constructions and marine operations.

The contracting authority has a need to:

— Prepare and adapt framework for technology qualification in connection with Ferry Free E39;

— Facilitate technology qualification of different concepts on various fjord crossing;

— Consulting in connection with technology qualification of different concepts on various fjord crossings.
