In the waters at pier C1 of the port of Ribeira, approximately in the 50 m prior to the perimeter closure of the commercial pier, the fishing vessel l'Etel has been sunk since January 22, 2020, at a depth of 6.00 m respect to level 0. The ship is arranged in such a way that, in the hours close to low tides, a part of its port side towards the bow is raised, so it can be deduced that the ship sleeps on the bottom with the superstructure, its gunwale and its starboard side. It is not parallel to the pier, maintaining a distance from it of about 5 m from its stern, as the area closest to the pier, and about 9 m from its bow, as the furthest area.
On the other hand, the ship Eros Dos is moored to the dock in the same location of the sinking of l'Etel, being supported, during low tides, by the port side on the hull of l'Etel wreck, so it is necessary move it previously, in case it is still tied in that position at the time of carrying out the work.
The characteristics of the sunken ship at the time of its construction are described in the Specific Technical Prescriptions that govern this contract (PPT).
