The subject of this specification is a removable extension of an existing measurement laboratory 1. Mainly, additional positioning capabilities must be provided to enable bi-static radar cross-section (RCS) measurements. This extension consists of an additional two-axis positioner (elevation and azimuth) and an additional single-axis positioner (elevation). Both positioners allow the setting of a wide variety of angular constellations of spatially separated transmit and receive antennas. In addition, a broadband transceiver will be needed to expand the existing metering system. All system functionality must be embedded in the existing infrastructure to enable automated metering.
This lot comprises the main part of the tender and essentially contains the listed services:
1) project coordination and administration;
2) Mechanical extensions;
3) transmission & reception branches;
4) antenna sets;
5) calibration standards;
6) optical 3D scanner;
7) integration.
For the measurement setup BB ≤ 6 GHz, a broadband transceiver with the parameters listed in Table 10 must be provided. The broadband transceiver must support the following functions:
Signal generation according to an arbitrary waveform generator,
Signal reception and AD conversion,
- Real-time recording,
- Integration capability in a measuring sequence control.
