In the Stadt-Umland-Bahn project, the overhead contact line systems of the tram are preferably catenary tracks including masts with foundations, wall fixings in the inner-city area if required, the supply with switch and remote control as well as earthing measures.

There are planning services of the overhead line system as basic services, special services as well as consulting services of the service phases 1 to 4 according to the fee structure for architects and engineers (HOAI) to provide.

They are to be provided for the design and approval planning of traffic facilities and engineering structures of a railway construction project according to the Ordinance on the Construction and Operation of Trams (Tram Construction and Operating Regulations - BOStrab).

The contract covers all planning services of the overhead contact line systems which are required in the context of the decision on the admissibility of the tram planning project for planning approval procedures pursuant to §28 PBefG in conjunction with the Administrative Procedure Act (VwVfG).
