Description:
Expansion of HPE Server & Storage Infrastructure

The client operates the toll system in Germany. Its main task is to collect the truck toll and transfer it to the federal budget. On this basis, it is developing into a federal service platform for infrastructure and digital services. In order to implement its tasks, it operates various IT procedures and provides various IT services to partners. At its Berlin location, it operates various system components in two data centers, which provide specific specialist and cross-sectional procedures, basic IT services and housing services.

The subject of this tender is the additional procurement of server and storage availability in the "HPE GreenLake" usage concept. Initially, this ensures a capacity expansion of the existing HPE system, and then enables the successive replacement of the existing server and storage system during operation.

The client plans to procure the private cloud solution "HPE GreenLake" in order to be able to react more effectively and cost-effectively to new dynamic needs of the customer's users and customers in the future and to replace the HPE system components from HPE that expire with a time delay in service and to integrate the HPE GreenLake into the existing system.

As a service level, HPE Tech Care Essential for the hardware is to be guaranteed, analogous to the HPE GreenLake contract.

In order to implement the HPE GreenLake contract, the following components are to be delivered, installed and installed in the client's two data centers in Berlin, the HPE startup service will be installed and the following training will be offered:

-Technology:

o HPE Apollo Server Systems according to 1.2.1 of SOW

o HPE Primera Storage Systems according to 1.2.3 of SOW

- Startkonfiguration:

o HPE Apollo server systems according to 1.4.1 of SOW

o HPE Primera Storage Systems according to 1.4.2 of SOW

- 3 HPE Training Credits according to 1.4.3 of the SOW

Rack cabinets, power supply, cooling, LAN and SAN connectivity are provided by the client. Only original and new goods from the manufacturer HPE may be offered. Renew/refurbished products are not permitted. If hardware is offered that does not meet these requirements, the tender will be excluded from the award procedure.

The initial capacity may increase within the term of the contract in accordance with the currently determined expansion stages in accordance with 1.3 or 1.16. of the service description at the request of the client, whereby there is no purchase obligation on the part of the customer.

The installed storage capacity or RAM size underlying the HPE Greenlake contract is shown in the component list. Of this, 80% will be billed as reserved capacity. 20% remains as buffer capacity and is only charged pro rata during use. The recording of the capacities in use ("metering") is carried out daily as well as the evaluation including reporting monthly by the contractor.

In summary, the following services are required in connection with the implementation of HPE GreenLake:

- Systembereitstellung

- Installation of the systems

- System-Service & -Support

- Provide a personalized IaaS customer and analytics system

- Relationship Management

- Capacity management

- Change management process (CM) as a standard process for adjustments to the provided infrastructure

Data migration services are not required.

System usage is billed based on actual monthly capacity usage, separated by technology (HPE Apollo Virtualization and HPE Primera Storage), fees and taxes, if any.

If necessary, the Contractor shall install additional capacity in the relevant system environment in a timely manner to ensure that the Client always has sufficient capacity for its projected growth requirements.

The provision shall be planned by the contractor in such a way that the operational readiness for the storage systems is ensured until 01.06.2023, so that the migration of the data stocks from the existing system can be completed by 01.07.2023.
