The service to be awarded is the awarding of freelance services for LP 5-9 for outdoor facilities (HOAI) and civil engineering structures (HOAI) as well as LP 1-6 for structural engineering (HOAI) including as a special service of local construction supervision in the measure "Expansion of water gates to the inner-city recreation area, Mayen". Details of the measure can be found in the terms of reference and the published plans, sections and floor plans.

The tender consists of five lots:

• Lot 1: Engineering structures for sewer renewal (LP 5-9) including on-site construction supervision

• Lot 2: Engineering structures, renewal of water pipe (LP 5-9) including local construction supervision

• Lot 3: Outdoor facilities (LP 5-9)

• Lot 4: Engineering structures (LP 5-9) including special service of local construction supervision

• Lot 5: Structural engineering (LP 1-6) plus as a special service the local construction supervision (LP 8)

Lot 1: Engineering structures for sewer renewal (LP 5-9) including local construction supervision. The combined sewer will be renewed from the crossing shaft "Am Brückentor"/"Brückenstraße"/"Im Keutel"/"Wasserpförtchen" (No. 87770624). A reinforced concrete pipe DN 300 is provided for the entire main sewer. The new canal route will be moved in the direction of the houses in the new course of the road, as the new seawall and the newly planned tree locations mean that it is no longer possible to lay it in the old route. It is also intended to prevent the tree roots from growing into the canal. Shaft No. 87770627 was designed in such a way that the 87770627 maintains a minimum distance of 3.50 m from the building at house number 7. Thus, the stability of the building should not be impaired. It follows that the planned tree locations in this area should be adapted. If necessary, suitable root protection systems can also be provided. This requires coordination with the city of Mayen. The length of the new main sewer to be laid is approx. 197 running metres. The sewer in the extension aisle "Wasserpförtchen" is planned in polypropylene with a ring stiffness of 10 kN/m² and a dimension of DN 200. The length of this line is approx. 61 running metres. In order not to impair the stability of the buildings, the sewer must be laid in the middle of the extension alley "Wasserpförtchen". This then connects to shaft no. 87770625 to the main channel "Wasserpförtchen". This still requires coordination with the residents. For details, see the service description.

The client/contractual partner for Lot 1 (sewer renewal) is the company's own wastewater disposal company, Kehriger Straße 8-10, 56727 Mayen.

Engineering structures, renewal of water pipe (LP 5 - 9) including local construction supervision. The water pipe is to be made of polyethylene 100 RC and a dimensioning of DN 160. In the "water gate" area, the water pipe is routed parallel to the sewer pipe. In the area of house no. 4, tree locations are planned in the route area. It should be agreed with the city to what extent the green spaces can be optimized so as not to risk the ingrowth of roots into the pipeline zone. If necessary, suitable root protection systems can also be provided.

The water pipe connects to gate crosses at the intersections "Im Hombrich"/"Im Keutel" and "Wasserpförtchen"/"Im Keutel". In the course of this, 2 house connections will be renewed. In the area of the street "Im Hombrich", the water pipe leaves the canal route and is routed in the sidewalk to the junction "Im Hombrich"/"Im Keutel". For details, see the service description. Open spaces (LP 5-9).

The following components of the expansion measure are to be assigned to the outdoor facilities:

1. the upper promenade in the section between St. Veit-Str. and the street Im Hombrich as well as the open spaces within the traffic-calmed area (2347 m²)

2. Basalt slab tape for the course of the former city wall (110 m²)

3. Open gutter made of concrete block pavement (48 m²)

4. the playing area at the confluence with the Mühlenweg (60 m²)

5. the vegetation areas in front of the renovated city wall in the northern section of the street Wasserpförtchen (160 m²)

6. the redevelopment of the waterfront (280 m²).

7. two bicycle parking facilities incl. e-charging station

Lot 4: Engineering structures (LP 5-9) including special services of local construction supervision.

The following components of the expansion measure are to be assigned to the engineering structures:

1. Seawall – partial rehabilitation (approx. 90 m / average height 3.20 m in the northern section and 3.05 m in the southern section excluding the ramps)

2. Seawall – partial new construction (approx. 200 m / average height approx. 3.00 m)

3. Riverside path incl. ramps and platform (567 m² - approx. 190 m length, platform medium length approx. 11 m)

4. Seating staircase with stairs arranged on both sides as well as recess for walkers, wheelchairs and strollers (141 m² / width approx. 23 m).
