The subject matter of the contract consists of the delivery of two solo low-floor city-line battery buses, including charging infrastructure, as well as the associated auxiliary and ancillary services in accordance with the contract. NVG intends to procure 2 solo low-floor cityline battery buses, including charging infrastructure, and to supply them with spare parts for a period of several years, to maintain and maintain them. The background of the procurement of the battery buses incl. Lasdeinfrastruktur is that the NVG intends to reduce pollutant and noise emissions as much as possible. For this purpose, NVG had carried out a study on the technical feasibility of the electrification of individual bus routes and had developed a conversion concept. NVG intends to use the battery buses on night lines N1 to N5 and on lines 6 and 16. The two electric buses are to be used according to the local transport plan of the city of Würzburg on the line 16 (daytime traffic and evening traffic), on the line 6 (evening traffic) and on the Nachtlinienumläufen N1 to N5.
