Biotope mapping Saarland 2022 (open - OBK IV and forest - WBK II)

The allocation takes place in mapping lots that are based on the cutting of the TK25.

Depending on the effort involved, individual quadrants or several adjacent quadrants are allocated as one lot;

these lots are regularly distributed throughout the Saarland.

Biotope mapping of Saarland is commissioned as selective mapping and is therefore not

nationwide.

The task is to record, delimit and evaluate the Habitat types, to record the

according to § 30 BNatSchG in conjunction with Section 22 SNG biotopes protected by law as well as possible

Development areas for Habitats types or §-biotopes in the respectively commissioned

of the frequent forest LRT 9110 and 9130 cursory.

Mapping excludes populated areas as well as those in use

traffic, industrial and commercial areas (the ATKIS data supplied are used as

information). Off-land areas enclosed by settlement are to be worked on if they are larger

is less than 1 ha. Straw fruit belts on the outskirts of towns must be explicitly included.

data set defined “read” (so-called OSIRIS transaction) and serves as

Current aerial photographs, CIR aerial photographs 2014, TK25 leaf sections and location maps for

State forests are also provided.

Participation in up to two training sessions (partly in the field, approx. 4 hours each) is possible at
